An Incredible Day at the NGMA Fight Show
What a day.
Our latest NGMA fight show brought together fighters, coaches, gyms and supporters for a brilliant evening of boxing, kickboxing and Muay Thai in Southampton.
The atmosphere inside the gym was incredible from the opening bout to the final bell. The crowd packed around the ring, supported every fighter and created exactly the sort of energy that makes these events so special.
We’re amazingly proud of everyone who helped make it happen.
Proud of Every Fighter Who Stepped Into the Ring
Getting into a ring in front of a packed crowd takes courage.
Every fighter on the show had put in hours of training, preparation and sacrifice before fight night even began. On the night, they represented themselves, their coaches and their gyms brilliantly.
We saw great displays of boxing, kickboxing and Muay Thai, with fighters at different stages of their development given the opportunity to test themselves in a properly organised and supportive environment.

There were exciting exchanges, hard-fought rounds and some fantastic moments of skill and determination. Just as importantly, there was respect between the fighters before, during and after each contest.
Every person who stepped through those ropes should be proud of themselves. We certainly are.
A Huge Thank You to Our Coaches and Staff
Fight shows don’t happen without an enormous amount of work behind the scenes.
We want to thank all of our NGMA coaches who prepared the fighters, held pads, offered advice, managed nerves and stood in their corners on the night. The work people see during the fights is only a small part of what coaching involves. The real preparation takes place over weeks and months in the gym.

A massive thank you also goes to every member of staff and every volunteer who helped us organise the venue, welcome spectators, manage the running order and keep everything moving.
There are countless jobs involved in putting on a show like this, and so many people stepped forward to help. We couldn’t have created such a successful night without you.
Thank You to the Visiting Gyms
We’re extremely grateful to every gym that supported the event and put fighters forward.
Creating good opportunities for developing fighters requires gyms and coaches to work together. It takes trust, communication and a shared commitment to making suitable matches that allow people to compete safely and progress.
The standard on display showed just how much talent, dedication and knowledge there is across our local martial arts community.

The South Coast is absolutely killing it at the moment. Boxing, kickboxing and Muay Thai are all producing exciting fighters, committed coaches and brilliant supporters. We’re proud that NGMA can play a part in bringing that community together.
An Atmosphere We Won’t Forget
The photos from the show say it all.
The venue was packed, the crowd was close to the action and every bout received huge support. There were cheers, nervous faces, celebrations and plenty of moments when it felt as though the entire room was reacting at once.

That atmosphere came from everyone in attendance. Thank you to every person who bought a ticket, supported a fighter and helped make the gym feel electric.
We want our shows to feel exciting and intense while remaining welcoming and respectful. Saturday night captured that perfectly.
The Biggest NGMA Show Is Still to Come
This event has given us even more motivation for what comes next.
We’re now looking towards the end of the year, when we plan to host our busiest fight show yet in November or December.
More details will be announced once everything is confirmed, but we’re already excited about building an even bigger night of boxing, kickboxing and Muay Thai at NGMA.

For now, we simply want to say thank you.
To our fighters, coaches, staff, volunteers, visiting gyms and every person who came along to support the show: you made the night what it was.
We are incredibly proud of the NGMA team and of the wider South Coast fight community.
This is only the beginning.
